Composer, guitarist, intermedia artist, and researcher. He collaborates with various artists on projects involving music, expanded arts, graphic art, and urban intervention. In recent years, he has been developing artistic research on everyday rhythms, graphic notations, and the musicality of speech.

- Meu Mundo de Areia, Mar e Vento (My World of Sand, Sea and Wind) – a mini-documentary for fulldome (360º) cinema by Karla Brunet, original soundtrack. 2024.

- Baía Vermelha (Red Bay) – soundtrack and audio editing for video in the exhibition "Invasions Project" by Lucas Feres and Lucas Lago, SESC Niterói-RJ, August to November 2024

- PÉR(O)LA – a dance performance by choreographers Paula Sacur (Chile) and Ana Trincão (Portugal) produced with resources from the IBERESCENA program. Original soundtrack and live performance – Salvador, July 2023.

- Seven Against Thebes (Aeschylus, directed by Márcio Meirelles), theatrical performance: original soundtrack for bass, guitar, percussion (trio of atabaques) and female chorus. Vila Velha Theatre – Salvador, 2015

- OLGA – Dance performance by Argentinian choreographer Paula Manaker with animations by French illustrator Ange Potier. Soundtrack composed and performed live for voice, guitar and loop pedal. Season in Rosario, Buenos Aires and Santa Fe (Argentina, 2013).

Condução de Vozes (Conducting Voices) – interactive performance-workshop addressing the political power of collective voices. Presented at CMC – Contemporary Music Cycle, at the Goethe Institut Salvador on December 13, 2018.

 

Listening Instructions – lecture-performance with slide presentation to induce listening to the environment. Several presentations, notably participation in the Interaction and Connectivity Festival No. 09, in 2015. Also in print version published by Leba Comix.

 

Manual de Subir em Árvores (Manual for Climbing Trees) (2011–...) Long-term project with activities involving workshops on tree climbing, drawing, and text creation. It has been held in several cities since its inception in 2011: Salvador, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, and Montevideo.

 

PSIU! (2010-2014) – Urban intervention carried out on two occasions: as part of the Poéticas de Multidão project (by the Coletivo Construções Compartilhadas collective, winner of the 2010 Funarte Artes na Rua award) and as an activity of the Tiragem Experimento Zero project.

Refluxos Sonoros (2019) – project awarded by SECULT-BA's mobility grant, held in Mexico City with workshops, radio program, and artistic presentations, with artists Edbrass Brasil and Victor Valentim.

 

Largo – Remontagem (2018) – project selected by SECULT-BA's mobility call for proposals, held in Mexico City with workshops, studio recordings, and artistic presentations with the Largo collective and the band Beto Júnior (noise). Project proponent.

academic activity

Professor at the Center for Culture, Languages, and Applied Technologies, Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia (CECULT-UFRB). Interdisciplinary professor, teaches classes in Musical Composition, Musical Reading and Writing, Poetics of Environmental Intervention, Sound and Movement Workshop, among other topics. Professor in the Master of Arts program at the same institution, teaching Art Research and Artistic Methodologies.

Coordinator of the research project “Ritmundano” and the extension project “Radio, Sound Art, and Audio Technologies” (RASTA). Postdoctoral fellow under the supervision of Prof. Karla Brunet at IHAC-UFBA, with research on rhythmic mapping of everyday life (2023). PhD in music composition from the Graduate Program in Music at the Federal University of Bahia (PPGMUS – UFBA) with the thesis: “Composing in the World, a model for composing music on phenomenological bases.” Master's degree in composition from the same institution with the dissertation “Poetics of Experience: an investigation into indeterminism in music.”
